Beam Me Up Scotty!

I used to be a fan of the original Star Trek many years ago, but, after years of repeats, the novelty began to wear off.  Or perhaps it was because what had once been science fiction became science fact. The communicators used by Captain Kirk and Doctor McCoy became outdated by our mobile phones.  Space flight became a bit ho-hum with the advent of the shuttle and international space stations.

Going With The Flow to Byron

The greatest lesson I learned this week has been to go with the flow. My husband broke his arm nearly two weeks ago, and we had been booked into a holiday house at Byron Bay for the following week.  I knew that the chances of cancelling with such short notice were slim, because they would only cancel the booking if they could find someone else to rebook. At the time

The Light of God

My blog last week about God left me eager for further clarity on the subject. http://www.lorelletaylor.com/limitless/ During my meditation one night, I asked God to provide this clarity.  I wanted to understand a bit more about the relationship between God and It’s creation, and also to understand why we often don’t experience that relationship in ourselves or see it experienced by others. I was shown a beautiful beam of bright

Limitless

Following Dr Wayne Dyer’s passing a couple of weeks ago, like many people, I felt a great sadness, even though I knew that it was always his choice when and how he wanted to leave this plane.  I was grateful, however, to read the message that Margaret brought through Gerry Gavin, which gave Wayne an opportunity to speak to all of us again. http://gerrygavin.com/category/messages-from-margaret/ As I read this message, all

An Ordinary Life

“The simplest pattern is the clearest. Content with an ordinary life, you can show all people the way back to their own true nature.”  This morning, as I read these words from the Tao Te Ching, which appeared on the  Change Your Thoughts -  Change Your Life perpetual calendar on my kitchen table, I was reminded of the passing this week of the beautiful soul who produced this calendar –

The Life and Death of Jesus

In my blog a couple of weeks ago, God’s Truth, (http://www.lorelletaylor.com/gods-truth/) I compared the God I had been learning about in the Bible with Tomorrow’s God, who I had learned about from Neale Donald Walsch.  This week I have been studying a book which has had me questioning my beliefs about Jesus’ life and death. The story of Jesus life is pretty well known by most people, even if they

The Impersonal Life

Last weekend I was at “I Am Light” with Dr Wayne Dyer and Anita Moorjani.  I had a wonderful weekend, and felt myself getting lighter after listening to all of their lessons, particularly the meditation. I had heard Wayne speak a number of times before, and read many of his books, and Anita’s book, Dying To Be Me, had had a real impact on me, as it did on most

God’s Truth

I started a new course at AIHT during the week – Biblical Studies.  After finishing reading Jesus: My Autobiography (by Tina Louis Spalding) last week, a channelled book in which Jesus told the true story of his life and mission, I thought I was finally ready to tackle a task I had been putting off. My father had been a Congregational minister before I was born (he had to give

Witness

(Lukas Haas, playing Samuel in Witness) I have been reading a book called Jesus: My Autobiography, by Tina Louise Spalding, which is a channelled book in which Jesus corrects all the misperceptions and false accounts of his life and his teachings that have been perpetuated by the Christian Church.  In this book, Jesus advises us to stop watching movies and television programs that involve murder, because that perpetuates our belief
