As you can see from my Home page, I am an animal welfare activist, author, spiritual teacher, and Tarot card reader. I had to choose something to describe myself, but I have begun to understand that no words can describe the true essence of who I am. You and I are all aspects of the divine, and as such, we are as unlimited as we choose to be. As soon as we choose to identify with any description of ourselves, we are moving away from our divine nature, and towards our ego nature. So if someone asks me who or what I am, perhaps I should respond: “I am divine, thank you.” Normally they would then ask: “But what do you do?” To which, I would reply: “What I do is not really important. What is important is what I be, what I am.” “I am love; I am joy; I am peace; I am freedom.” These are some of the descriptions which I would choose if asked to describe the divine. If I may quote God from Conversations With God Book 1 (by Neale Donald Walsch): “My purpose for you is that you should know yourself as Me.” So that is my aim in life, to be the expression of my divine self in whatever I am doing. But he also says: “I gave to each of the countless parts of Me (to all of my spirit children) the same power to create which I have as the whole.” Therefore I can choose to create myself to be whoever, and whatever I wish to be. My creative abilities, however, are limited by my belief system. So, I have to believe I can be what I choose to be. This is why you will have seen more evidence for my being an animal welfare activist, than any of the other descriptions I chose – because this has been easiest for me to believe. And yet here I am, authoring my first blog, and teaching my spiritual truths in the process. Watch this space for news of my online Tarot card reading service, coming soon.
